starting own blog

few months ago i decided to learn how to blog about scuba diving for beginners,n chose blogger coz recomended as user friendly, along the way i came across many tips on how to optimize my site for better rankings,chose some n compiled all the links into another blog,titled it how to optimize blog for performance and rankings,then decided to try out seriously all the links i have compiled to see how effective they are..what da ya know.after i keyed in my diving blogs url in google search bar,the 1st 5 links actually link to my diving blog.also before couldnt find my site in Yahoo,but now it appears when i key in my link to yahoo search bar.
how many mylotters have own blogs n how do you optimize it for better ranking in google ,yahoo,or bing.if you have own blog have you tried keying in your site's url into the google ,yahoo or bing search bar to see if your site comes up?

hi bryanwmc, im planning to set up a blog too, probably next week, im really interested in blogging. Well i guess ill go with using blogger

I used to have my own blog.. but after getting into job , not getting adquete job in updating and maintaining it. Its rather easy to express my opinion on twitter or mylot .. so i am just sticking with it

i know what u mean,quite time consuming to write a full length article as oppose to just a short 1 2 sentence remark. many bloggers write their postings among many things,for posterity, sometimes i like to read the postings i made some time back n get a kick from it,nice feeling to put opinions into words n with internet,share it with others with common perceptions,
