growing up as a very poor farmers daughter.. i never had the indulgence of experiencing the wonders of this place. as an adult, ive pondered heading south to get it on my list of things ive done just to have that experience, as well as give my own children something i didnt have as a kid. i think my family vacation planning agenda may change after this .

Im gonna have to agree with sleepylittlerose. If we were told about all the little disturbing occurrences that occurred at any public place we would probably stay locked up in our homes forever. I've never been to disneyland but I knew someone who interned at Disney World and from her experience, Disney tries to go beyond most of their competitors when it comes to regulations, cleanliness and making the overall experience family friendly. They have multiple Mickey Mouse costumes that are cleaned and sterilized on a regular bases. I'm pretty sure rides are also cleaned regularly to keep up with inspection policies. Unfortunately, we cannot control everyone's actions. I would say go to Disneyland. The possibility that any of the aforementioned things occurring to you and your family while there is pretty slim in my opinion.

None of those things really surprise me. People ask for thier ashes to be scattered in some on the strangest places and more than likely the famlies that are scattering these ashes don't really have permission to do so. But who and how can they be stopped. As for the flashers, this happens pretty regularly at all theme parks. I guess the biggest question should be, since they have it on film do they do anything about it. If they ask those guest who do this to leave the park then I guess they have done their duty. Park officials can not control what guest do but should respond with appropriate reaction. And the lice and scabies taht kids pick up from hugging Micky could happen anywhere. Think about all the little kids that run up and hug any costumed character. The germs, viruses and parasites that are passed this way are probably numberous. Hopefully they have those costumes steam cleaned regularly to help prevent some of this. I would say if you have always desired to go to Disney than plan that trip. Just be mindful of what you allow your children to do while they are there. Nothing in that article should be a deterant from experiencing a trip of a life time with your kids.
