Best -of-Three FINALS in world cup T20,would it be better??

And I agree to it strongly.Australia who have been very consistent through out the tournament failed at the last hurdle.On other day they could have won the series.also the first world cup final Misbah has almost made it for Pakistan.
T20 is too small that the it changes very quickly and it is harsh to decide the winner just on the basis of a single match.
Also if there is rain on that day and the match reduces to 10 overs,it is ridiculous to call. the winners Champions.
Umpire's wrong decisions may also play a factor sometimes.
So best of 3 matches would produce the real winner according to me.

it is nothing but a case of sour grapes. australia have never been good in knockout championships. it is no wonder they cant win the t20 world cup. it is for the same reason that it took them so long to win the champions trophy. in fact the only reason they won the champions trophy is that it was no longer a knockout tournament. i am not surprised that ricky ponting has said this because he cannot digest the fact that Australia have not won the t20 world cup yet.umpire's wrong decision can occur in any format and for both the teams.there is a reserve day in case of rains during the final so it will not be reduced to 10 overs. not to forget the Australians won the 2007 world cup because the rains cut it short.

Wrong decisions may not be done on the balanced basis like the umpires may not think i made mistake for that team so let me compensate that by making one against the other team.
Reserve day is the best day than the 10 over match.

the case of south africa is a very curious one. no they wont think about balancing but if an umpire is having a bad day we are bound to see wrong decisions in both the innings. reserve day match is any day better than a truncated match. but lucky for England their match against Ireland got rained off or they would not even have made it past the first round. and thanks for the br.

Bhaskar, I don't agree with you on this.
If this is the case, South Africa will win all ICC series. They will perform outstanding through out the series and in the last moment they will move out of the tornament.
I am amazed that australia is saying this. Because they won so many ICC tournament already.

Particularly in the case of T20,I think it would be better to have best of three finals.South Africa is unlucky team though,and that is why we should give the better teams another chance.
Australia though won many ICC tournaments T20 world cup was not among them.
again what about the wrong decisions sometimes made by the umpires that might sometimes prove costly?They can be another chance and win the best of three finals.
