what do you expect of a PTC as a new member??

Ok i'm relitivly new to PTC (paid to click) sites, and while i'm not going to become an avid fan i'm giving a few a try out. Yes some are scams and some don't pay and i love that Mylot communty informs us.
However, as a newbie i was wondering what you look for in a site, and what payout per day you hope to achieve. are some sites only worth it if you have referals? have some sites started good and now the newcomers get a bum deal?

First thing I want is get paid as soon as possible.
Nice admin and cool forum, its a must.
They paid make sense, not to big 
or to little like aurora site.
Get paid without help from referral because they not easy to find.
They must be online for long time.
