I am not talking about any guru schemes here. Just basic simple tools and ideas.
I wonder if people would believe anyone who told them how they could have been making good money for years. They would never get rich though, just comfortable. I don't think they would be believed. People want the magic button that will make them rich with zero effort. It has to be *rich* for most people. He would just be "The Fool on the Hill"

This week i made a whole £28 ($40). it's my first week of really trying to make a living from being online. I now work with 16/17 sites (i think one has gone down) and i'm putting in a good number of hours a day. My target is to get that to keep steady (no more sign up bonus') and then creep up until it almost doubles. Most of that is by selling things i've created: articles, reviews, reflections, images, video.
I don't think the get rich quick schemes really work, i just don't believe them. But it is possible to earn $200 a week if you have a skill to sell. I know lots of people working for companies or even freelance that earn that, most are web designers though who can charge in excess of £10 (roughly $15) an hour.
I'm starting a website to tell people about my progress, not to fill with adverts for referals. It's not completed but you can see the start through the link on my Mylot profile.

Someone once posted a discussion question here. He was talking of coming out with his e-book. He mentioned in that discussion that was making $100 everyday. The man also had some tasks for mylot members here.

Great stuff. I think you are correct in your statement that you have to have something to sell, be it a product, knowledge or a skill. Nice analysis. The get rich quick schemes only benefit the so-called gurus, sucking money out of our wallets. If I come upwith a way of making it, be sure I will spread the work around on MyLot. There are a lot of good people on here trying to earn a crust.

Hi, I have added you as my friend. I do not just send friend request to anyone unless I can tell that they are on their right minds! I am hoping to learn from you and what websites do really pay. I am tired of signing up to a lot already. I will be good with one to three websites that are stable, reliable, and of course, with good pay. Thanks for this post.

Depends. Do you define writing articles and affiliate marketing as get rich quick schemes? These are probably your two best means of raking in a profit. You could also give starting up a GPT a try. I know people who make thousands of dollars monthly from them.

No writing articles and affiliate referrals ARE part my plan to make money. I don't expect to 'Rake in the Profit' from either though. I have to believe in the products I am refrring. I could not do the guru referral thing. The only way really is to come up with own product then find a way to make a profit from it. GPT sites are fine, if you have hundreds of referrals. For Joe Grunt at the keyboard they earn next to nothing

The only real way to make cash online is to work your fingers to the bone. But most people would rather pay a place $59 to start up and think they can just sit back and relax and make cash, it wont happen. I have paid out a good $2000 over 8 years and none of that crap works. You have to put some hard work and plenty of hours into making money. Doing nothing makes you nothing.

Yes, I have been there as well, similar spend, too. I agree, most people waste their money online, just like you and I did. How do we...? But that's another question for another day.
