I always travel between the cities and countries with my husband. But we feel quite disappointed about the hotel rooms, because we find out they don't really clean all parts of the room or change the sheets all the time........they just clean up the obvious spaces..that makes us feel quite uncomfortable. In fact, I think the room keeper get paid for their job, then they should respect their job and their clients......... How do you feel about the hotel room??

I know what you mean! I've had the absolute misfortune of staying in some rather filthy rooms! Now I avoid hotels and book myself into cabins at caravan parks. I've found that they're a lot roomier and about the same price, have more facilities such as ovens, and - best of all - they're usually operated by husband and wife teams who do the cleaning themselves. That means that they take a lot more pride in their job and consequently do a lot more thorough clean.

I remember in the past the situation was better than now. The hotel rooms were always quite clean at that time........

I love staying in the hotel, but it depends. It depends on the hotel, if the hotel is not of good quality and cheap, with no good-rooms, I don't want to stay there. I like hotels with pleasing and relaxing rooms, those rooms I'd like to stay in. THey don't really need to be so fancy, just clean, very clean.

With the few hotels I've been to, thankfully, I'm satisfied with their services. But you are right. There are a lot of hotels with poor service and ambiance. I've read a lot of bad reviews when trying to look for hotels to stay. Hopefully, management will do something about it as it helps boost their sales and their country's tourism. As for the employees, since they've accepted the job, they should always give it their best shot.
