I hate having typos in my discussions. The worst thing about it is, you cannot edit it once you posted it. Do you always have typos in your discussions? It's really annoying isn't it?

When this happens I get really annoyed, but I just have to let it go, because there's nothing I can do about it.
I often check my discussion over once or twice to check for typos though, and thanks to spell check, it makes my job easier.
Sometimes though the spell check misses a typo, because it is only one letter, or for some other reason, and I miss it too, so it goes unnoticed until it is submitted, lol.

Using spell check is a good tip in getting rid of typos. I've never thought of it until you and lamb mentioned it. And I was like, darn! Of course! The spell check! haha.. ;)

That would be very nice. An edit option would be very helpful. Having typo really is annoying. ;)

Yes, typos are definitely irritating, both for the person who’s started the discussion and also for those who are reading it. I usually copy paste my responses from a word file so I don’t have many typos… however, spell-check misses out of words which sound same but are not what I wanted to write, for eg… if I want to type ‘din’ and I mistakenly type ‘tin’ spell-check will not correct it…I do make such mistakes often

I think it is our duty to do it for our self first there is an edit section try to use the (preview comment) and there's already a spell checker, so in my opinion it is our duty to check our works, all we have to do is read our own work and check it for any typos, and I guest in that way, mylot teach us to be more responsible in writing, it is really great to know this site, I'm learning a lot and also remember no one is perfect just enjoy and learn from our mistake.

I always have typos but It's OK for me no one is perfect right, and beside because of our failure we can learn more things we can improve our self, just like what your discussion said your getting annoyed because of typos, all you have to do is be more cautious to what you are writing, and use the preview response to check your message if you have typos right?, that is why preview response place near the post response maybe our admin want to teach us to proof read in every thing we write, so we can learn the basic of writing I suggest every time you are going to post your responses or comments and discussions make sure to read it first and check for typos, if you really want to improve your self.

I would like to see an edit function sometime in the future because there have been times where my fingers have gotten ahead of my brain and I just type something wrong on accident. It'd be nice to at least have the option of editing after we post even if they only allow us one edit per post and then it's final.

There is an edit function all you have to do, before you post something always use the (preview comment) in that way to can check your work or you can proof read your work before posting it, haven't you notice the preview section? it is the same as edit function.

I have many typos. Sometimes Iadd a comment underneath to explain the word with the mistake, especially if it alters the sense of what was supposed to have been written.
There is one word that always comes out wrong and I have no idea why, Every time I type 'because' it is becuase'

It's really irritating when there are typos and even gramamatical errors. However, mylot is a worldwide community so I guess we should expect some of these every once in a while. But I agree with some of you. Hopefully, mylot will incorporate a spell checker and an edit function to lessen these. :)
