which sauce do you prefer for french fries?

i really love french fries.. and i prefer to tomato ketchup taste sweet&sour and also I like dipping in sundae. HapPy mYLotTing ?_?

I like to mix mayonnaise and ketchup. It brings out a different taste with my french fries.

with sweet or tomato sauce. actually i like to eat with hot sauce but since my stomach ache, my doctor advice me not to eat hot foods and too much fries food. it is sad but that is ok. it is all for my own good.

well i only pefer catsup for my fries but i also enjoy the other ones. I think fries is one of my favorite finger foods but i don't like the fast food ones. i want the gourmet or homemade ones.

Definitely gravy is the best dip for fries. If it is not available, catsup will do. I just don't like banana catsup. I prefer tomato. I also like dipping fries with other sauce like cheese dip, thousand island dressing and many other.

Hi, sfcreyes24. I prefer Hunt's ketchup on my french fries. My husband and son both loves mayonnaise as their sauce. If I am eating fish or chicken, I prefer honey mustard sauce and I also like tartar sauce too. That is only when I am eating fried fish from Captain D's.

When i have fish and chips i love having 2 eggs over easy. The fries and egg yolk taste so good together.

I prefer the chili sauce, it was very nice and not boring. I could spend a lot of french fries if using chili sauce.

I am very surprised at the number of responses who say gravy, I have never used gravy but the next time I do and have fries I will have to try it. I really love ice cream and fries and I also mix mayo with my ketchup and that is VERY GOOD!! I think what it is, is it takes the bitterness out of the ketchup. If I don't have any mayo I sprinkle my ketchup with black pepper and that also helps with the flavor of the ketchup.

I prefer Tomato Ketchup or the mustard sauce (the way McDonalds make it) with my french fries.

Hi Sfcreyes, I love tomato ketchup and mayonaise for my fries. However, it may not be a sauce, but i also love ice cream as dip for my fries. but of course, ketchup is the best match for me when it comes to eating fries.

I like a variety of condiments for my fries, just not at the same time. gravy, ketchup, bbq sauce, mayo, and sometimes chili:)

I like it with gravy, especially when the gravy is still hot. it's really yummy. but if there's no gravy, i'll be fine with ketchup. or i'll buy vanilla ice cream and dip the fries. it's really delicious!

I always love to dip my Fries in a Hot Fudge Sundae. That's my number one choice. If ice cream is not available then I prefer to dip my fries in gravy. It depends though on what kind of gravy. After that the next choice would be a mix of ketchup and mayonnaise. I guess for me, its either Hot Fudge Sundae or anything else.^_^

Most of the time I prefer ketchup for my french fries, sometimes I will use ranch. I never use gravy or mayo. By the way, curly fries are the best!

Definitely the first place is for Tartar sauce! *mm* I can eat only french fries with this sauce for days. The second choice would be ketchup and honey mustard. Great combination indeed. Anyway, french fries are extremely delicious with any kind of dipping!

I'll definitely go with gravy but tomato ketchup will do. I remembered dipping french fries on sundae and I was surprised that it tasted really good.

Barbecue sauce. Preferably a spicy sauce, but I'll take whatever. Also plain fries are pretty awesome at times too. But I like the extra kick from the sauce.
