is it something that is normal or can we do something about it.
I think most of the time we are called to be "jacks of all trades". Perhaps to be master of at least one (trade? or skill?) is crucial to success.
What do you think?

Hi, friend. We can't be expert in all trades. Usually, most people can only be procificent in one specific field, so we need to be jack of all trades to adapt to the society. From time to time, we have to show a little skill in a trade, but we're not required to be an expert.

Such a thing does happen in our real life. A person may never realize his gift in music till his talent was explored. We're all born gifted in a particular area and we just need critical eyes to find out out talent.

It seems we all have talents that are unique and we all get results from these. It seems people usually see a very limited view of a person's ability, such as ability to gain material and social reward.
There seem to be more rewards than just money or fame and most people take it for granted. What do you think?

I think being a master of some skills, mediocre at some, and downright poor at some skills can help a person assess his capabilities and see where he stands.this can help him determine what are his passions.this will help him identify what he would love to do for the rest of his life.this will help you in considering what you will do,and from there earn a living from it.

Interesting point.
It does seem there is a tough challenge for more people because of a previously higher ratio of available opportunities to those who seek them. Also it seems the stiff competition would be kind only to about 20% of the those who compete for opportunities.
Would you agree?

ruperto I was thinking when I read this that that fits what housewives
are expected to do, multitask to the limit . but for someone now days wanting a good job you should really have more than one skill, look at nurses, they have to learn how to do a number of things and do it right. it can be done so that old saying is just an old saying. Even to just work in a library you have to have learned several skills. so having more than one ups the chance is get a great job.
