I'm a single mom of 5 and I homeschool all of them. Anyone else here homeschool and if so, do you plan on continuing through High School? So many people ask me when I'm going to put my kids in school, I'm not sure why they think we should stop homeschooling just because the kids get older. I think if you're careful to incorporate plenty of activities outside the home, there's no need for public/private school. What do you think?

My daughter is to young for Home school at the moment. When she gets old enough I intend to have checked out various Virtual Schools and find a good one to work with her on. That way she gets the assistance of trained teachers laying out her curriculum while I also prepare an extra class or two (Religion will definitely be one class). If the Virtual schools only teach through the school year and let out for summer then I will educate her on my own during the summers. I intend to do that until she graduates. Though if the Virtual schools do not work out then I will simply home school independently.

Hey~
My kid's are to young for school at the moment but I am planning on Home Schooling them. I do not see anything wrong with Home Schooling as long as they do have a chance to meet and socialize with other kid's somewhere else =)
I think people are silly for not doing it... Do people not see what's going on in school these days? It is SCARY to me!!!
The only name my kid's will be chanting is Jesus Christ NOT Obama like what is going on in some school's!
Just my opinion...
