What did you do for money growing up?

Whenever summer came, I would go around the neighborhood(against my will), and offer my services to anyone willing to listen. My services included mowing lawns, mowing lawns, mowing lawns, and mowing lawns.
Did I mention that I mowed some lawns back in the day?
As I look out of my window, I can see a few large rain clouds floating by. I can't help but wonder if I had saved all of that money I made from mowing lawns back then, could afford to buy or make a lawn mowing robot to mow the lawn at the end of the coming week?
Did any of you have lucrative part time jobs as kids?

My brother and I had a paper round, we shared the work and the money, and we didn't really earn that much, but we enjoyed working together and it was more fun than working alone. When I got a bit older I started working in a law firm instead. I cleaned up, did the dishes, took the mail to the post office and things like that. I was still at school and it was only a part time job, but it was a nice way to earn some extra money. We were a small group of young people who worked together, and I became friends with some of the others.

Every summer when my brother and i were younger we would always work with my dad. I did that through my senior year of high school. He was a block mason so we helped him build houses. He is retired now. I did some things around the house for my mom and helped my 2nd grade teacher with some yard work when i was 17 but i enjoyed working with my dad the most.
