Do you like muscle cars?

There used to be a gold Malibu that was the hottest car down town. This was back when it was cool to 'go drag Main'. The car that took my boyfriend's life was a purple Baracuda. My daughter always wanted a purple sports car. I alsways wanted a platinum colored Jaguar(70ish when they were cool looking) with leopard seat covers. I would love to have a old touring car or a old Woodie. I think they are cool for some reason. What about you? any memories of old 'muscle cars'?

I love old cars in general, at one time I had a 68 Buick Riviera, it was metallic like turquoise, with white interior and a white hard top roof with an original 8 track player, it was all power windows and door locks and had a/c. with a 455, that was back in the early 90's. I have now just acquired a 72 Chevy Suburban, not really a muscle car, but definitely has some potential, it's a 3 door, purchased from the original owner, needs work, lots of cosmetic stuff. The muscle car that I dream of having one day is a 78 Pontiac trans am metallic blue with black bird and black interior.

Oh, the old Buick Riveria. Cool car. Huge! The Trans Am is a cool car too. Why did they ever quit making them?

Who can't forget some of the older ones out there, as well as some of them that are still out there being made today. They still are caught in many areas dragging, and when you hear them wrecking you just hope the outcome is not bad. But the memories of some of them over the yrs are great. (I would Love to have a Purple Car as well as a Purplish Blue house as my favorite color is purple.)

Hey you could always do Pink with purple polka dots, or purple etching and then you could at least say you have some of her favorite color on it? Pink would be a good color for a car.

I love to look at muscle cars and would like to drive them occasionally but not sure I would ever want to fork out all that money to own one lol. I love Jaguar XK8 and Aston Martin, I love the Tesla electric sports car, nice lines and good speed too. Colour wise I love silver and champagne coloured cars, though some will always look best to me, in red..

I remember when 'muscle' cars used to be very popular. Young men worked on their car continually and they used to drive them down through town on the weekends. There were races and we had a gold Impala that was the fastest car in the city for quite awhile. Those were days!

I never had a car in my life, I don't even know how to drive. My husband never had a car either. My present love used to have a car before he met me but cannot afford one now My favorite dream car was always a red ferrari

Never, huh? I didn't start driving until I was about twenty five. My mom took me everywhere. I finally go out on my own and wanted some freedom. Red Ferrari? Nice.

I once had a brand new lemon with black upholstery 1967 Ford Cougar. It had sequential signal lights on the back and a real quick passing gear in the automatic transmission. And get this- The new price was $4300.00! A paint job now, would cost more! Oh I loved that car!

That sounds cool. What is a 'sequential signal lights'? Ya, I remember my mom paying $3000.00 for the house we called home and payed $50 a month payments. What a hoot huh?! That car sounds like a dream.

hi celticeagle oh yes I remember the muscle cars and my son wanting a jaguar, I don't re member the color he wanted but that was the car, sorry he didn't get one but I do remember that. I do not drive so I really do not need a car. I always liked those old Woodie cars, like you say they are cool, or neat, whatever the right word for today.

I like muscle cars that have distinctive designs and parts like the grill and the rims of a muscle car. I also like muscle cars that looks like imports like the camaro bubmble bee.
