I suppose my favorite is epic fantasy, though I do enjoy some of the urban vampire type novels. I'm going to be picking up a mystery novel here soon, which should be interesting, as I've never actually read a mystery before. What do you all like to read the most?

I would definitely have to say that the genre I enjoy the most are murder mystery/detective novels. It's a genre that I've enjoyed ever since I was a kid, for one reason or another. It's not the only genre that I enjoy to read, but I'd have to say that murder mystery is the one that I enjoy the most.

I like fantasy too! I really like high fantasy novels that take place entirely in their own world. I like stories that are fantastical, mythical, and legendary! So Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Sword of Truth, Shannara, and many more you've probably never heard of are all favorites of mine. I despise vampires with an unmatched passion (with the mutant exception of Twilight), but I like a few urban fantasies.

Suspense/Thriller/Horror books are definitely my favorites. I like the edge of your seat feeling, and I like to kind of be able to guess at some things while I'm reading. Nora Roberts, Dean Koontz and Stephen King are my favorite authors.

I like all sorts of books really. I enjoy thrillers, classics, drama, comedy, autobiographies, history, all kinds. My favourite authors include Jane Austen, Minette Walters, Diana Gabaldon, Terry Pratchett, Martina Cole, Jodi Picoult and Tess Gerritsen.
