I'm sticking with YM. I've been using it for so many years and most of my friends and contacts are using it. I also use gmail for chatting. But its still YM for me.

I also use Yahoo Messenger. Whenever I open my computer, I usually turn off (exit) Windows Messenger. I just don't like it. It cannot match the beauty of Yahoo Messenger.

favourite chocolate? Lmao. I thought you wanted to know which chat provider we think is best. I'll just ignore that last bit... Ok , I think Msn is the best chat provider because it is easy to set up an email , the interface looks nice , you can make your chat look however you want it and because I have never used any other chat provide. Also , you can have emoticons , catch phrases , video clips , video chats ,etc, etc. I don't know if the other chat providers have these . but all these features makes MSN #1 in my book.

Hi your right with what you say about msn... i think that they really do have the best easy to use interface... and I must apologize about the chocolate error lol... I think that must have got mixed up with my other discussion I posted a minute ago about chocolate lol, anyway windows live or msn whatever people call it these days is my favourite too, and I shall continue to use it

Hi, One thing you have to understand is that you can log in into different accounts and in different domains at the same time if you have some multi protocol chat client. http://technolocus.blogspot.com/2010/05/free-yahoo-chat-clients-download.html Look for chat clients that support multiple protocols. Once you start using them, you will never log in to your msn, yahoo, gtalk account individually. Thanks God bless you

I tend to use Windows Live Messenger as it seems to be what the majority of my friends use these days. Facebook, Myspace and Gmail chat is all decent as well and I use that from time to time as well. It is an added bonus that those chat providers are conveniently built into your web browser with no extra download required Skype and Ventrilo are also great if I want to chat via voice and keep in touch with family and friends that way. The only bad thing about Windows Live Messenger is that the service is down occasionally and it is quite frustrating when you need to talk about something important and you are unable to sign in.
