My favourite book is the bible. As you, I also like reading so I read a big variety of books. But the most I like are historical novels, poetry and psicological (those ones which might help you with some important points in live). Sometimes, I also like to read theatre. Do you know Cyrano de Bergerac or the years of the young Wherter?

I love the Harry Potter series. It's one of the best series I've read. I know it's a hugely popular book, but it is for good reason in my opinion. Another book I love is Battle Royale. It's a japanese book (obviously written in English) that truly can be called a modern day Lord of The Flies. It's a great read.

There are many good books out there. Most books by Toni Morrison are excellent. There is an interesting book out there right now called Purple Hibiscus.

I can't pick a favorite book. Please don't make me try!
I read a lot. I really do. I would go so far as to say I read like a mad-crazy woman. I typically finish 2-3 books in a week. I don't usually re-read books, even though there are lots that I loved the first time. I just find myself wanting to experience as much as possible. My favorite genres is High Fantasy. Some of my favorite High Fantasy books are The Chronicles of Narnia, The Circle Trilogy, The Legend of the Guardian-King series, and The Last Unicorn.
