lots of friends but fake or few friends but real?

Well, same with me. I'd choose a few friends but real. Actually, I've been in both situations wherein I had big group of friends but fake, and a very few ones but real. I enjoyed being with both groups but the only difference is that with the real ones, I can be myself and feel secured that they accept me for who I am, even my flaws and weaknesses. Now, I try to be as independent as I can because we never know until when my real friends will be real.. Right?

Hello patersh, I don't know if this is right, theres a saying that you can touch the sand and as it withers from your hand, only a few lighting diamonds will be left behind. and those diamonds are your real friends. or it's easy to find gems but diamonds are rare to find, i think. a lot of people need to pretend just to be IN the society

i have lots of friends, but a few close knit friends, and the close knits we are always real with each other, we will tell each other straight up how we feel about each other or what we are doing or done

i will go with lost of friends but real i only have few friends in my real life but also i have few fake friends too. they are making me complete.

same here i dont need a lot of friends but fake as we know what are friends for. sometimes its really hard to figure out who is true and who is not and sad to say that worst things must happened first before we realize who among them are really true friends.

I'd rather have few friends who are true to me than a lot of friends that aren't true. I know a lot of people that has a lot of friends but I know a lot of them aren't being true to her. It just makes me sick seeing these kinds of people.

from 2005 july to 2007 july i lived with the fake friends of mine in another city and after that i am with my real nice friends you will find few of them really real friends otherwise all are fake just killing time

Hi, Naturally,i would prefer few but good friends.Having more friends but not real is just waste of time.We should not spend our time to attend those type of people.With good friends we can share our all the situations.

Choosing a few but real friends is the way to go for me. It is not important if your popular or not, in times of trouble it is those core friends that would help you out. :)
