Ok, concert tickets are getting pretty costly these days. What was the last concert you went to and was it worth the money? I went to see Avenged Sevenfold and paid $50 for 2 tickets and got to not only see A7, but 4 other bands, so that was worth my money for sure. How about you?

I go to a lot of small shows in bars and pubs and stuff, but even those are getting expensive. I saw mewithoutYou for fifteen dollars a while back and that was excellent and I'd say it was worth it, they're one of the best live bands around these days. More recently I payed that same amount to see Amy Millan which was also really good. I usually tend to avoid those really big expensive concerts for a couple of reasons, the cost, and also just the fact that small shows are more enjoyable and more intimate. I have a couple of bigger. but not huge, shows coming up next month though, that are each gonna cost me about 20 or 30 dollars. The Be Good Tanyas and Ron Sexsmith. I'm super excited for both of them.

Good to see that you support a lot of smaller venues for music. I am a fan of smaller venues and of supporting local music as well as mainstream. We have a great venue where I live that has super shows at low prices for everyone all the time, we need more places like that!

Cool. Passes are great when you can get them. I have had my fair share of both. Of course a pass is the way to go, but If you do have to pay it can be a little crazy these days! Awesome to hear about your bryan Adams experience!

Darn I have never been to any live concert, the tickets are always too expensive here in Singapore and I have never been lucky enough to win any free concert passes.
