How does one go about planning a book for publication? If book publishing was some kind of engineering project, how would an engineer do it? What would the book project look like in terms of blueprints and all those engineering stuff engineers need?
Turning an idea into reality begins with the specifications. Starting with the following should give me an idea what this book should look like and how much resources will this project require.
- a book about how to write a book
- published at CreateSpace
- 100,000 words
- 60 calendar days
Hmm. I've got the essential specifications down. This should get me started.

Thanks. I'm working on the first chapter now. Unfortunately, I'm on the road for the past week conducting a seminar so I may have to work on some kind of process to get me writing during my free time.
