I suggest you follow what your parents told you. Get a fine and stable job first. If you're earning enough then you can pursue what you really wanna do. Just make sure you'll earn something from it.

Do you have any job experience? If not then maybe you take the job that your family offers you until you can save what you need to get your dream job. 23 is a very young age. Trust me, when you reach 25 your views in life will be a lot different. Plans change as you get older. I suggest you live one day at a time.

When we are young we want and think we deserve every thing right now. There is a saying that goes "A bird in hand is worth two in the bush". You have the bird in hand with the job your family will help you get. Then you can prepare for your dream job. Since you are only 23 you have a life time to get those dreams of the perfect job and a girl friend. Beside girlfriends cost money even if it's just a little.

Hello, My advice would be to take any job that is offered to you whether you enjoy it or not. Firstly you will be earning a wage. Secondly you will have the satisfaction of having money in your pocket which you worked for. Thirdly work experience is vitally important, no matter what you are doing. Fourth, even if you dont enjoy the job it is alot easier to gain employment elsewhere, as you can demonstarte to future employers that you are willing to work. Jobs are hard to come by nowadays with the current economic climate, doing something is better than kicking your heels around doing nothing, jobs dont come to you, you must go for them. Good luck.

Life has a funny way of placing you where you need to be. Take the job. It might open other doors you do not see. Besides, simply because you have a job doesn't mean you can't look for another one. Many people change jobs throughout life.
