Do you think women put men on child support for revenge??

Yes, some do but what I really cannot stand is when a man is ordered to pay for a kid thats not his.

Kids have to be taken care of regardless so if they do it for the wrong reasons or not is irrevelant.

In some cases yes in other no. It depends on how bitter they are about the whole situation i guess. But in most cases it is just the only way they can make ends meet month to month. It is hard to go from having security,money,a home, bills paid on time,food always in the fridge and a partener helping out. To not having hardly anything and have to rent,pay bills,buy food,and clothing,and school stuff and not having help from a partener being a single mom or dad is a hard job. And I think that all the man has to do is ask for a Dna test before he has to pay and then he will be off the hook if the child is not his. But I think whether revenge or not a parent should provide for their children and love them just because divorce happens doesn't mena you divorce your kids or should stop caring that is when they even need more love and understanding and more of your time.

I'm sure there are probably some women who do this, however if there are questions about paternity, then it is up to the man to make sure a test is done, and if the child is his, then he too is responsible for the cost of upbringing. If someone was a getting child support from someone other than the father, then I agree, it should be paid back in full, and I'm sure that must fall under "fraud" so there must be consequences if caught doing something of that nature.

Not always. Some women need the money just to get by. But yes, some women do it just to be hateful.

yes I do think they do it for revenge. I was watching Maury yesterday and the one lady was making the baby's father pay her $100 a week to see the baby and a paternity test hadn't even been done yet. The court had nothing to do with it, she just told him to do it and like a dumbas* he did it. She hated him with a passion so I think it was revenge but for him being too emotional cause he cried over everything I guess.

I don't think it is revenge. When it is something that should be done reguardless how the couple feels about each other. I know dads who go after the moms for child support just as well. Even after remarrying and not needing the money.

I think some women do just for revenge, but others really need to because some men just won't do what they should automatically be doing(taking care of their children). If they know or think that he is not the father then they should have to repay, plus pay some kind of fine.
