As of now, based from the manga, there is a high chance of naruto controlling the kyuubi. It's just that her mother showed up to the last minute to help him sustain the kyuubi.

in the end of naruto manga at chapter 499, naruto will seal kyubi forever after meet his mother.

I guess so since he is the lead character of Naruto and so far the latest update was he is about to fight against the kyubi. Lets see what will happen.

I think yes. Naruto will control the kyubi inside him. If he can't control it I guess he can't win over Sasuke which have already implanted his 3rd eye. Sasuke can now use his sharingan powers unlimitedly without the risk of losing his sight. So its a must for Naruto to control the kyubi inside him if he want to have a chance to beat Sasuke.
