Why is it that boys never want to take a shower/bath?

SOME OF THEM WON'T GROW OUT OF IT EITHER. I HAVE TO REMIND MY BOYFRIEND TO SHOWER ON OCCASION. I THINK HE SEES IT AS " I'M JUST GOING TO GET DIRTY AGAIN. WHAT'S THE POINT?'

Nope, you're not the only one. That's for sure!
My boy is 11 years old, and it's battle to get him in the shower every time. He just wants to play and play all the time.
My ex has a son who's 18, but back when he was 16, he was still having problems with getting him to take a shower. I sure hope it doesn't happen to me at that age!
Good luck to ya!

my younger son is like that, but my older son is really good about personal hygiene. I think when girls are a factor they start taking better care of themselves...........

I guess I am a lucky one. Both of my boys love to take a shower or a bath everyday. My youngest is really obessed with being clean (body, clothes, bedding all included in that).

How old are your boys. My girls sometimes are hard to get washed up. I don't know what it is. My girls are 8 and 4 and it really surprises me because I had heard boys were much more difficult.

I wouldn't say that! My boyfriend's always jumps in the shower before me in the mornings.

That is a real good question. I used to even have to make my hubby bathe once upon a time....LOL

My son hates to take a shower. I don't understand it either.

That is a very reasonable question that even after my eldest son being 16yrs old, I am still trying to figure out.
If your boys have not reached the age of wearing deodorant, just wait. I have to constantly ask my boys if they put any on!
Do they like stinking? I ask them that all the time and their answer is always no.
I don't get it.
