The last day I was having a discussion with an older friend, unexpectedly, about parrots.I've been flattered to find out how many details about parrots he knows.Among general information I found out about three certain parrots-stories and I would like to share this with you.
The first one is about a parrot, named Puck, that he owns the record of vocabulary learned(1.728 words)....woaw!!
The second one is about another parrot(maybe his cousin),named N'kisi, known for his corect'spelling, english accent and impressive amount of words learned(950words)
And the last one,my favourite one is about a female macaw,Charlie, that belonged to Churchil and have been teached by him to curse on the nazis and Hitler. The story has been told by a man,Oram, the current owner of the bird...:)).
Did you knew that, although the most species of parrots live in South Africa and Australia, the oldest fossils of these birds were found in Europe.
Well,it seams that I woke up to late,to have the opportunity to see parrots singing on my garden.
