Can I raise the memory of my ipod touch?

I have an ipod of 8 gb and I want to have more files and songs on it. I don´t know if I can change the memory of my ipod or just sell it and buy another one of 32 gb. So, what can I do?

Im not really sure if there are experts or technicians that are offering that service but i guess some technicians or experts can do that, it just probably need to change the memory inside. Im not really sure though. But if you have extra money to buy a new one. then feel free, you can sell your old one too to earn money.
