I do! I love to cook, but going to a good restaurant will make me learn other dishes (I always ask the poor waiter to explain every dish Im interested in). Besides I love to be served once in a while instead of doing the job myself. It´s that "princess" feeling...
How about you? Do you like dining out? Whats the main reason why you like it?

I love going to the restaurants once in awhile. We have a maid to do the cooking at home so I don't really have to cook. But I love the ambiance in the restaurant and I like tasting good food. Sometimes i get bored with home cooked meals.

I understand about the whole setup in a restaurant. I was very happy going to a restaurant with friends a month ago, in St. Martin. I love the fancy dishes, the candles and just telling the waiter what you want.

I love dining out! I dine out with my boyfriend twice or thrice every week. Its a good way to spend our time together. We also love food. And its a good way to learn about the new dishes. Home cooked dishes might get a bit tiring once in a while so I go out and eat.

Going out for diner is a nice way of bonding. And there´s always the extra conversation about the new dishes you are trying. I used to go with my husband to a restaurant and we´d share a couple of bites of each of our plates so we woulds know what the other was having.

That would be very interesting to find out about different types of food like that. Around here, we only have the typical fast food places. The one so called upscale restaraunt that we have serves basically the same types of food just more expensive. Not new or different to find out there.

I sometimes like to have a family outing just to change up the normal ritual and we go to some of our fav restaurant's. We mostly go to applebees because everyone in my family loves that place. We don't go often maybe once a month will go out to eat because normally we coook at home every night. Its nice to have someone else cook for you for once. I love enjoying family time!

I love Applebees! My favorite is their Oriental Chicken Salad. The only problem is, we don't have an Applebees here in Jasper where I live. If I want to go to Applebees, I would have to go to Birmingham, which is about 43 miles from here. They have about 3 Applebees Restaurants over there. I live in Alabama, in case you're wondering.

I love to dine out, but sadly we can't do it as much as we'd like simply because we can't afford it. I love going out just to have a chance to relax and get away from all the stress of work and all the tasks that need to be completed at home. Also going out gives us the chance to have certain types of food that we don't normally have at home or that we just don't have the time to cook.

I must confess that I always go invited to good restaurants. I don´t care for fast food chains, I like the real thing because I´m a very good cook. My friends and family invite me and I invite them to diner at home.

I like to go out to good restaurants every once in awhile, but i don't get to very often. I think the last time I was able to actually was in February when I went to the Cheesecake Factory with my best friend for her birthday. I absolutely love that restaurant but it's a little on the more expensive side for my budget these days. It's so good though.

Hi, marguicha, thanks for adding me as your friend.
I don´t go to restaurants often, but when I do, I like to do it with some good friends. Being together and having fun is the most important part of the meal. Even a pizzeria is ok if you have good company..
I hope to be able to taste the food from your country some time.. probably delicious if you can get fresh vegetables and fruit from your own country during all year - and not imported from the other side of the world..
And I would love to taste your cooking..

My country, Chile, has amild climate and exports many fruits. Veggies are good and unexpensive. Still now I pretend to grow part of my own veggies, not so much for the price but because each day people are putting more pesticides in food. The only fruit I dare to eat with skin and no washing are the apricots from the apricot tree in my backyard.

Wooww, I hope to have an apricot tree some time.. I guess I have to move somewhere - to a warmer place. It is a good thing that you can grow your own veggies, at least you know they are clean..
We can buy a lot of organic food here, but the only season we get fresh fruit that is locally grown is in the autumn. Actually it is berries - not even apples seem to grow here, at least I have not seen any. But the berries are really good. They have daylight 24 hours a day during summer. Apples from southern parts of this country are great too.
Wish you a great autumn season. Our spring has just started..

Hello marguicha!
I prefer eating at home. Nothing beats home-cooked meals. However, there are times when I would love to go to a good restaurant once in a while. Then, order the best foods that I would most likely crave about. There are also times when I believe that I deserve to reward myself with good food that I can order from a good restaurant.

I like to go to such restaurants where they serve dishes that I don´t usually make at home. sometimes I learn how to make them, some times I just have fun eating something different.

I like dining out because of the food and because I don't have to cook. And no, I don't learn how to cook the dishes. That's what restaurants are for. I can cook, but I don't experiment a lot...

Plus when I do play with it, the children complain that they don't like it.

It´s more difficult to have time for experiments when you have to take care of two children plus your marriage situation. I learned how to do basic cooking early in my life just because I hd to. It was much later that I started playing with it.

wE WOULD HAVE TO DRIVE A Long way to eat creole food. Guess i'll just have to cook. Can try out some resipes in new orleans cookbook. With the oil spill may not be too much seafood & it will be higher than cat hair if there is some. It was already very expensive before that happened. I am a long way from creole land.

When I get there, Jo, you´ll drive me to where we can eat a good Creole meal. I´ve been thinking of it since I discovered what the lyrics of Jambalaya meant..
Of course, I need to shed some kilos first, so I can do something shameful like having THE diner with you.

Yes, once in a while I like to go to a restaurant and enjoy being served a meal. It could be because some of my friends are going and I wanted to be with them. It might be to eat something I like but don't want to bother preparing it myself. A treat once in a while makes life better!

I do a lot of cooking and eating at home and it's a nice change to go out to a restaurant once in a while. I don't do it a lot, so it's a treat when I do and I love to get dishes that I don't make at home. It lets me try new things but also get my favorites at different restaurants. It's great to eat a fine meal and not have to worry about cleaning up afterward too!

Yes, I like going out for meals sometimes as I can eat food I don't usually eat. It is also a nice change not to have to cook myself, but to have someone else cook for me. We don'tg do it very often though, as restaurants are expensive and if we do have money spare, we are more likely to spend it on going out to see a live play at the theatre.

I LOVE TO GO TO THE THEATRE!!! We went as many times as we could when my husband was alive. In fact, we went a lot more to the theatre than to eat out then specially after he got sick. Home meals were exactly what he needed and I learned a lot about nutrition and cooking then.

Yes, going to the theatre is one of our favourite things too. We see all sorts - musicals, straight plays, farces, comedies, classics, Shakespeare. We've only been once this year so far, but are hoping to see two more later this year.
I'm sorry to hear you lost your husband.

After working for one you tend to see that the normal type one's are just as good. Okay, the food might not be to the same level but at least most fast food companies appreciate their staff. The main reason why I would ever do it would be to celebrate something very special, other wise I would just save my money.
I would like to get my wedding vows renewed at some point, maybe then.

The truth be said, I never spend any money at restaurants. I am always invited to the best in town. I am a very good cook and invite my friends a lot to my gourmet like cooking. So, once in a while, they take me out princess like.
I can do very good meals even with cheap ingredients. Today I have a friend invited for diner. She is bringing a movie to see after diner. I´m making a swiss chard quiche. The chard is homegrown so it´s 4 eggs, the dough, some cheese and that´s all.
I will also have a fresh salad mostly from my garden.

I hate cooking and would like to go out regularly, maybe once a week, to any kind of restaurant, even fast food. My husband does not like this and does not like that, so we never go out. A couple of times in our married life, he has found a place that he liked, but one restaurant closed their doors at the location near our house. The other one that he liked closed up for a short time, and when they reopened, their prices had increased dramatically.

It is a pity that you can´t go once in a while to a restaurant if you so hate cooking. I love cooking myself but there are lots of things in the house that I don´t like to do and I´d love to have someone do them for me once in a while. I hope your husband realises that he must treat you to a restaurant once in a while, even if he is not equally satisfied with the meal. He should see your happy face instad!

Yes, i enjoy eating out and trying new food. This is where i learn new recipes. You see, its really fun eating in restaurants where you only have to choose what you want to eat and wait to be served. Besides, you dont have to prepare the food and just leave after eating without worrying who will wash the dishes. You only have to be sure that you can be able to pay for the food and the services.

You are right. My outins are still better because I always go invited to restaurants. We have an agreement with my close family and friends that as they have more money than I do and I´m a cood cook, i invite them to my home and they invite me out.

Yes, I like going out to have dinner at a good restaurant. It makes me feel important as I think I deserve this from time to time. I like the atmosphere of a good restaurant: music, dancing and delicious food. I like to have dinner in a good restaurant with my family and friends, to eat, talk and dance. It is very pleasant and relaxing to go to a restaurant and have dinner after some time of work and stress.

Hi. I love going to a good restaurant once in a while
especially during paydays and try different foods also.
It's some kind of treating myself after a hardwork.
I enjoy it most when I dine out with family or some friends.

Dining out is a real treat. If you work all day and have to return home to work at the kitchen, it´s lovely to go once in a while to be served.

Hi,Well somehow i love that feeling especially at good and famous restaurants but what i love is the good food nad delicious taste that i never eat inside my home. For me i can only eat good foot when im out because i can choose which food i like to eat depending on my mood. While inside the house mom is only cooking one type of dish and mostly vegetables or fish.It is very expensive if we cook good food since we are big family and food is expensive here in my country. If we want to cook good we need to budget atl east 500 pesos for just one meal because we are big family. So i think at least few times a month i really go out and eat out at different restaurants to taste good and eat delicious food.

Eating out is a way of having something different than what you eat at home. I experienced that when I was on vacations. We went to a very nice restaurant and we were served delicious and beautiful dishes.
