Which swimming style/ strokes is the easiest to learn?

When I was young the first I was start swimming on my back it is really easy.
What about you? What is the best style? Are you learn alone or with teacher?

Learn swimming from book it must be very hard. Is the best result it is have teacher who tell you what are you doing wrong and always is near to support you. And of course he can help as when we will be drawn that was happen me when I was learn swim.

I would have to say that the easiest way to learn to swim is by doggy paddling.
You pretty much just have to stay afloat and just keep kicking and moving your arms.

nice style , I never heard about this style :) I'm must try this one, It don't look it is hard so everybody can learn this one

I don't know what it's called. I'm very comfortable with the style used by swimmers. I think it's called freestyle. I can swim better using that than other swimming styles.

Well, I think th easiest stroke to learn is the free style. I find it hard to swim other strokes. But the hardest stroke would be the butterfly, but it is said to produce great work outs.
