this happened last night. my cat caught a cockroach. i'm not sure if he caught it outside or inside our house. he has caught a cockroach outside the house before. just like what he did before, he took it inside and played with it. then, i just saw him looking for that little creature for it was missing. after two minutes, i just smelled the smell of a cockroach and i thought that it was just near. i was shocked to see it on my right shoulder. i screamed and i lost my control. whew!
has anyone of you experienced crazy things like that caused by your cat?

my cat always catches a cockroach. he's become a pro at it. whenever he catches one, I always make sure that I kill it and throw it away before he leaves it lifeless in some place not easily accessible as it will surely attract ants.

every single morning when ever i wake up, i see a lot of cockroaches on the floor outside of the house, of course, i know who's responsible for it. i like his idea of hunting down pest, i only wish my mom would allow him inside so that he can finally finishes up some mice or rats running around the house not spend on buying fly papers

ideally, that would be nice. however, just think the mess your cat and the indoor pests will cause around your house. the cartoon show Tom and Jerry will give you a better picture. ^_^

Hi ms,
I don't like cockroaches. In my child hood there are 2-3 cats at my home. Sometimes they used to bring such mall creatures and small rats and some times small fishes also. But didn't allow the cat to bring inside the house as it may dirt the place. We take them outside the place and sometimes used to play with the cat and these small living things.
However, it was a nice time and while thinking of those days, I feel so happy now.
Regards,
Thank-s

One of my cats is still young and, being a boy he is very active! He drives me crazy sometimes and he too loves catching insects and bugs of any kind. He chases the little things around and torture them by pulling off wings and legs etc and if the bug scurries away under the furniture or out of the door, my cat will make a strange sound and become very agitated and do annoying things like climb the drapes or jump on the dining room table therefore knocking over everything on there.

oh my God -- that's awful. I would've screamed and screamed if there was a cockroach on my shoulder! My cat is the same way -- she doesn't go outside and thank God we don't have roaches, but one day a lightning bug came into the house. I was looking at my cat and suddenly her eyes got huge and she jumped up and I followed her gaze and there was the lightning bug. She immediately jumped up got it with her paw and started playing with it. Then she ate it -- and then made the most disgusted face you can imagine. I guess it tasted pretty bad. It was really funny.

hello pitot,
HAHAHAHA wow, what a shock that must have been. As for me, i have seen my Cat ponchi been chasing and capturing cockroaches, not just him but also with my dog jolen, unfortunately since jolen always messes up with the plants we had to tie on a leash, no choice she's killing my mom's plants, that i watered everyday

that's a different case in me because it's me who bring ponchi to jolen. and jolen always wins

good thing your dog and your cat get along together. we don't have a dog any my cat is mad at dogs. whenever a dog from our neighbor comes near our gate, the tail's hair of my cat burnok raises...and it looks like a Christmas tree...that is why sometimes i carry him and bring him closer to a dog..hehehe...bad me

Safe to say my cats just like to watch the roaches walking on the celing. or, the walls. They may pounce on them if they walk on the floor, but the roaches avoid the floor for that very reason. Silly kitties. Though George squashes them when he sees them so the roaches don't have a chance.

Good thing the cat didn't leap on you and bit your shoulder in the process! Whewww! You should still consider yourself lucky!

Hi, i think my cat is more crazy than your one. She often catches butter flies, bees, insects, spiders and many more. She just plays with them but never eat. So i keep her inside my home so that she cant kill those little creatures. U may see her in my profile. Lol

it wasn't caused by a cat. my experience is in reverse to yours. in the gulley, along the turnips line onetime, i have seen a battalion of cockroach being formed like a circle. due to my curiosity, i had picked a stick and had a beat like basting it and i feel it there is something hard underneath and it was a cat... and those cockroaches enjoyed devouring it...

My cat used to capture baby birds and put it on the kitchen table. That was the best cat I have ever had

Same here! Our cat even eats the cockroaches and leaves behind only the legs. My brother even took a video of one of our cats eating it. Gross, but at the same time, very amusing. Actually, since we had cats, the mice and some cockroaches disappeared. So, i thank them for that even if they're doing gross things.
