dealing with insurance agents... sheesh!

I have nothing good to say about any type of insurance company. I think they are all rip-off artist.I don't trust anyone of them. All they do is take your money month after month and you get nothing for this in my eyes. I just received a statement from Allstate saying that as of July 1 my rate will be going up by 210.00 dollars, this is for home insurance. I went crazy. I sent them an email because you can never get a human on the phone. He claims he will have it checked out and that I get all the discounts. I'm so angry. This is now another reason I have to get this house sold. I brought this house 3 years ago and now its not worth what I paid for it but the insurance can go up. Are they kidding me. I also think trying to get a claim from most is like pulling teeth. The worse companies are the ones who every month like to tack on more to what you owe and they never explain.

You are so right!!!! I got signed up for insurance by a friend of mine. and boy it was horrible the company gave the lowest interests and I cannot be refunded! They are only nice when they are asking you to join but are very horrible when you need something from them.

Sure have had experience with the insurance agent. They said "DENIED, DENIED, DENIED". LOL No in all actuality over the years I have found some insurance agencies to be real good and some not so good. I was once rearended by a woman sitting at a stop light. Did minimal damage to the bumper of my truck and little to no damage to her car. Her insurance company was great. They got my truck into the shop of my choice and had it repaired without any problems. Offered us a rental car, which we did not need as we had other vehicles to drive and were very friendly about the whole situation. On the other hand, I was a pedestrian struck by a car where the driver was speeding and driving without headlights on a dusk. His insurance agency said the accident was my fault and I should have been more careful. Fortunately for me with the help of a lawyer we received settlement.

My experience is really terrible. Having denied claims is just so annoying especially if you have done all your best to make sure they will pay whatever out of pocket expenses you have incurred. It sucks!!!
