Whats the point in 'YouTube' except music videos..

Hi, Silly question this may be , but, how do you just browse youtube to pass the time or when your bored. You must go there because you know what you are looking, and most likely you will find it. I think you are a person who enjoys comedy videos, I could be wrong. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.... Enjoy and have fun always.

It usually starts out with a video that a friend suggested I watch. And yes they are often comedy videos. If I like it, then I'll look at other videos by the same poster. Or I'll look at the related videos. That will take me to some other page with another video and I might then go to another related video. Then I might check a user's favorite videos because I think we have similar tastes... and then next thing I know, I'm on something totally different and many pages away from where I started! But it's ok because it exposes me to many new things. I like learning and I like experiencing new things so it's fun for me to just browse around. Also when I'm curious about something, I'll often search for it on youtube. Like a recent news story I heard on tv but missed the ending of. I'll enter it into the search on youtube and usually find something about what I was looking for.

I agree..sometimes you can catch those old shows..like Andy Griffith, Leave it to Beaver, and Gilligan's Island too.

Hello, I always thought the idea behind the YouTube concept was for music videos. I have never seen it as being an educational tool, ie learning about computers etc. Most the videos which class themselves as funny just seem to be homemade movies, which, at the end of the day, are not that funny. Looks like I will stick with the music concept PS. Purple hair now, very cool. LOL.

Oh yes you can learn a lot through watching youtube, I learned how to manually remove computer viruses and how to do screen shots on XP I also learned how to do other things too, and yeah I watch music videos occasionally on youtube but I like typing in the how to videos and watching funny clips also. and you can get referrals too if you make a good video, and promote it. And you mean black hair not purple hair lol funny love it. Oh and one last thing type in baby dancing to beyonce its cute, and funny youtube very good.

hello, I dont think my broadband connection is fast enough to watch any missed TV programmes. I hate when the little loading circle comes up on the screen and you have to wait for it to catch up. I have never posted any photos on youtube I thought it was just for videos. Maybe I should investigate alittle further, thanks for your input. Have a smooth day.
