How do you make extra money

I am a stay at home mom and I am currently building a site for my new business I am starting. I was curious as to how other myLot users are making extra money? Do you sell things? Do you refer others to do some of the same things you are doing? Like a pyramid thing? Do you have legit jobs from home? I decided to try selling things online using my own site to try to supplement my husbands income. I would like to continue staying home with my son but I would like to have some extra money coming in so that we can buy a house and be comfortable not always struggling. I am also on the look out for new ways to make extra money whether it be online or off. While I was thinking of this I figured it would be great to hear from all of you and learn from you all as well.

Welcome to this group of good people. If you live where you do then you are talking hundreds of $ a week. There are a variety of ways, but you have to think long, medium and short term... Long Term - Start a blog, Medium Term - earn money from the business you mention, Short term write articles for Demand Studios ($15 each). That's it in a nutshell

Hi Philtrate what do you mean if I live where I do then you are talking hundreds a week? Is those three things you mentioned what you are currently doing? How is it going for you?

oh yes I guess you are right I do live in the USA and it definitely can be higher standard of living and expenses. I hope all goes well for you. 12 hrs. oh my that sure was a long time but good luck learning and writing in English.

I was going to welcome you to MyLot..but when I went to your profile it says you have been a member for 3 years. I checked out your website also. Is this the kind of online earning programs you are looking for? I have been earning online for 10 years and would be glad to answer your questions. There are so many different methods you can use to earn online. If you like to write, you could sell articles. You are already familiar with affiliate type programs. I have my own website/blog that I earn from. You can also get some great idea from member profiles here at MyLot. Welcome back

Hi workingmom50 yeah I have been a member for 3 yrs. lol I just hadn't been active b/c I joined right before my son was born and then he was 4 months preemie and I didn't have time to do it. He spent four long months in the NICU so I kinda forgot about it for a while. What do you mean is this the kind of online earning programs I am looking for? Do you mean like myLot? My website is selling things online like avon and home interior. But I got such a wide range of things to choose from. Since you have been earning online for 10 yrs I would love to hear all about what you do and have done and what works best. I am open to learn new things and ways to do just that as well as try to build my current site.

I was referring to your website as MyLot is just for socializing. Yes, you earn here but I come in here to take breaks from my other earning projects. I hope all is well with your son now. My children are the reason I started doing this so long ago. I wanted to stay at home with them. And here I am 10 years later still doing this. It takes time to build your online income...there is no miracle site...but by doing your research and taking the necessary steps EVERYDAY to reach your goals..you will get where you want to be. i work outside of the house as my daughters are older but i only work part time due to health issues. i also make and sell crafts and sell the ocassional things on ebay.

Working from home can be a really tough job, and the profits made can hardly be equal to that of an offline job. That's why I don't depend on online earnings. I'm working as a college teacher and so far I've been well-paid. So I just take mylot as a way of practising English(mylot is the only money making site I'm working on). I totally understand the hardships stay at home moms have to experience in making money. But even so, don't be discouraged anyway. There's always a way out. I think you've got a great idea of selling things online. I know some people in my country earn a lot by selling things online. You can give it a try.

It is true that one can make money on internet. But it needs a lot of hard work, patience, intelligence, perseverance and never to give up attitude.Good luck.

I find it really difficult to make money online because I don't think it's enough to live off of. I only come to mylot for making extra money, but I come here more because I meet really cool people that share the same interests as I do. It's also a very nice place to come to when I have something on my mind. Otherwise, I work full time at my job and enjoy getting out of the house and interacting out in the worlds and that's my initial way of earning good income. Take care
