So I try to drink a bunch of water before I eat a meal so that my tummy is full and I don't want to eat so much.. does anyone else do this and does it work for yall. I find that it works but at the same time I have to pee constantly and I am eventually hungry again really hungry.

hi lillybelle I have tried this and it works at times but it also means a dash to the bathroom at inopportune times. I think drinking water and beverages with a meal is more effective as you tend to eat less.also soup is excellent for being filling and still nourishing and with veggiesoups you get the added good gift of more veggies in your diet. also stock up on fruits and veggies as they are more filling and not fattening, some lean meat and go easy on the carbs in bread, a potato is actually better for you than white bread, but multigrain breads are really good for dieting.

I experience the same thing with this one... I think it isn't that effective because I know I'll be eating again anyway when I get hungry. I think it's better for me to eat the right food until I'm full. So I don't get hungry very often. And lots of walking, lots of exercise is the best and fastest way for me to lose weight. I'm not sure with the others out there if this also works for them.

I don't necessarily drink a whole lot of water right before I eat a meal but I do try to drink a lot of water throughout the day! I know that water is very important for our bodies and I know that my body certainly craves it. Sometimes it helps me keep that "full feeling" that you're talking about. The biggest downfall to drinking lots of water is the potty part! LOL I hate always having to go to the bathroom!!

Im a drinker of water to the extreme. I drink all day. Both water and green tea. What your doing is wrong, while possibly well adviced, im sure. You should be drinking consistanly throughout tehd ay and not just gobbling down a buinch before a meal,. You can get sick that way. If your body has the proper hydration and green ta (3 cups a day) to help speed up motabilism then there shouldnt be a problem here.
Eating healthy is the best and chewing slower will help you stop eating as much. Once you're done one meal or one pate of ood, or serving or whatever take at least 20minutes and dont weat. Relax, watch a movie, talk, whatever. By then your stomach will ahve had the time to tell your brain about, I repeat ABOUT, how full you are since most of it would have reached your stomach by then. Then consider that dessert or otehrwise.
Try not to think of being full but satisfying your body so that you can survive ina day and try to set your tastebuds onto food sthat are healthier like a fruit parfait or something sui, ialr for dessert instwead of half a chocolate cake.
Of course you're going to feel hungry after not eating anything, drinking tons of water to try to dfill the void and pee it all out. In reality what your doing is making yourself gain more weight. First you are starving your body of nutrients and calories it needs this way and tehreforre everything you eat will be stored right into your fat glands and storages in your body. Secondly, you'll think your hungrier more often and eat more (and usually you will snakc on unhealthy things when you get like this).
Good luck. :)
