Can you make decisions fast?

Decisions about dresses, color, shoes take much longer than decision about my life, career and activities, I do not know why but it happens so often with me though. I do not like fast decisions which can spoil my life so I better take time to take a good decision.

I can't make fast decisions if the consequences are for long term ones. Examples whether to settle abroad or just stay here in my country with my husband and son. I can't give decisions fast to those kinds of situation. But in some cases wherein it involves minimal or less damage, I can make decisions fast. Like whether to go to the mall or market. I think it is not how fast or slow you make decisions but I think it what matters is you have no regrets with the decisions you made. And to know that is to choose one and stick with it. If you think it is wrong then go to the other option is still possible or available. That is all my idea and I hope I have shared enough.

Hi, You are absolutely right.Decision making plays a big role in the life.We need to make decisions almost everyday.Some day important.And some time we don't have much time to think about but to decide only. As others might have done,i also have taken some good and some bad decisions.

My answer is no, i don’t take decisions so early. But it does not mean that i take decisions right each time even after thinking alot. What ever decision i take it really does not mean that it would be right if i give my self enough time.

i guess it depends on what i have to decide on. some decisions are easier made than others. if it is a life changing decision (like moving to another country, or resigning from a job etc) then i tend to take my time because i like to consider the pros and cons. once i've made a decision then the hard part is done; i just have to act on it. there are time tho when i feel i overthink things.

Hi vijayanths!I'm in both category. It depends on how serious the issue will effect my life.If I bound to serious matter then it will take some time to make the decision and vice versa.Analyzing the problem thoroughly would lead to the best solution, huh? But we are not perfect.Honestly, I've had made wrong decision many times and will always keep learning to decide the best decision I could make.:)

It takes time for me to finalize my decision for a certain thing, event, person or situation.It is because I know that one wrong decision, can ruin something or someone. One wrong decision and you cannot do what is your ambition or goal in life. Before I make a decision, I always talk to some people around me. I gather their opinions and then make a final step. Aside from that, every time that I have to make a decision, I always ask for God's guidance. I always ask what is His will for me. For a very long time up to now, that is what I have been doing.

I am usuually a quick decision maker. A lot of times the decision falls to me. Time can be an issue. If i take too long in making a decision, i usually don't do it at all.

Yea...vey true said that decisions play a very important role in life. We not only need to make decisions quickly but we also need to make decisions wisely. Otherwise, at a certain situation, decisions made after very long time can lead to many problems, as you said. As per me, I too make decisions quickly. But yea sometimes, I have also taken alot of time to make decisions because at certain points, I wasn't able to decide whether what I am going to do is right or wrong.

right decision at the right time makes your life fulfilled i believe.. so i don't delay my decisions all the time but may be at very important moment of life i'll take some time to decide. i think its always better to take decisions as soon as possible.

Sometimes I make fast decision, and sometimes I am too slow at making decision. Well, I know that it's bad, we have to take prompt decision, but not much fast. I think making decision is better then just keep thinking about it for long time and let opportunity goes away. I think that we must make decision with our utmost care, else leave it on the god, no matter whether it would be right or wrong. That's my view.

Of course decision is important., but one have to think carefully before making any decisions. Making decisions with haste will only lead to more mistakes.

Good day,First let me clarify,Decision making is different from making a decision. Decision making does have many other process such as,gathering and analyzing facts,etc in order to have a justifiable decision.. Making decision is a process; a final step/process..meaning it may either do the other process or not..you came into making a decision.if you do a decision not analyzing the fact..and you make it final and you execute it..probably you night not get your desire results.. Don't be a gambler in making a decision..ANALYZE FACTS..

I do not observe how fast I can create decision, maybe I can do a fast decision but there are times my decision takes a day or a week. It depends on the situation maybe, because there are situation that you are needed to decide urgently and there are decision that can take time before it is given. I can decide fast and slow, depending of what will I have in return or what must to do or faced.

hi vijayanths I can and have made on the spur decision when it was 'feasible but usually I do try to take enough time to make the right decision and almost all the time I make what seems to me to be the best decision. Of course I have goofed at times as I am just as human as the next woman but altogether I make decent decisions.

In a world where there is so much false information and dishonesty, we are taking a risk with every decision or choice that we make. We learn with our mistakes and so we can become better with time and make better decisions. There are no guarantees as to how things will turn out. Like most people I have made some good decisions and some bad whether I made them quickly or took my time. We hope for the best and it is good to be prepared for the worst since we never know how things will turn out.

yes, i always make fast decision, which is not always good but i do always.

Yeah.. especially when I'm angry or mad .. maybe because I don't know what I'm doing because my angry feelings is more superior than anything else ..
