What was your favorite thing to do as a child?

When I was a little girl I spent a lot of time in the swimming pool. We were at the local pool almost every day during the summer and when we went to visit my grandparents out of state, my Dad's mother also had a swimming pool so we would also go swimming with our cousins. Another thing that I really liked to do when I was younger was to have treasure hunts in the yard. We would look for little pieces of broken things and such that were left behind in the backyard of my mother's childhood home from when she and her brothers were children.

Hello, Jaluke! Your story reminded me about the wonderfull summers i spent at my grandparent's in the country :) I could only stay there on summer, during the hollyday but i remember those days better than anything. We used to gather in that village about 20-30 people from the major cities closer to that point and we would go hiking and bathing into the lakes and party everynight :) You're right, it's simple times but maybe that exact lack of complexity made those moments so beautiful. No worries, no homework :))And when my frends were not around, I remember there were days i would climb a tree or hide up in the barn, in the hay to read adventure books. I just loved doing that!! As for what you said about pretending to be characters from tv shows...I remember how we used to make keyboards from wood drawn with chalk and we'd play "star trek" for hours rescuing the whole galaxy :)) And as a small confession...we also tried Sailor Moon and I always ended up Sailor Mars because of my long, dark hair. It annoyed me so much, i would've done anything to be blond back then, just to be Sailor Moon :)) Really thank you for this subject..it brought back wonderful memories!! Happy posting :)

Hi Jaluke: This sounds very nice. I remember that when I was a child I enjoy watching tv, playing videogames and having fun with my eldest brother and my cousins. At the same time I love to read books since I was a child so I can tell you this was another hobby I have at this time. I enjoy my childhood because it's a beautiful time of our lives. It feels funny and happy when we talked about our childhood life..it feels good when we bring back those unforgettable things that we experienced before.. When I was a child, I love playing Dolls and other toys ;) I love taking a bath with my barbie dolls.. ;)

when i was a child i had a freind and there was a jungle in front of our house we both use to go there and watch some animals not the dangerous one and also enjoy the natural beauty,use to find some different seasonal flowers and use to present each other then we use to climb the tree and think that we are the tallest and then we use to have a race down to home,hahahaha,so foolish na but those where were awesome days i miss them and also my freind too.

when I was a little boy,my favouite hobby is reading.I read books as much as I can. And now it is also one of my hobbies.
