I have just been watching "Celebrity come dine with me" on TV, and my friends dad was on it (Pat Sharp). I have known him since I was 3 years old (that was 17 years ago), and I have never seen his mullet, but the whole time, the presenter was making fun of it.
I don't know why people still make fun of a mullet, after all this time. Back in those days, the mullet was quite popular, so I have no idea why they make fun of it in the first place, when many others must have had the same thing. Whenever I read something about him, there is always a mention of the mullet, why can't they just let it go?
So what do you guys think about this? Is it jealousy? I would like your opinions.

Unless there is more hair hiding on the back that I can't see in the pic, Pat doesn't have much of a mullet!!! Some of the mullets were teased out so far they looked ridiculous. Other than those, I loved the mullet back in its heyday!!! My hair was so curly that my hair never laid properly for the mullet. I often wonder why people feel the need to make fun of that hairdo. Even years later I still find it attractive!!!

First of all congratulations with that bright yellow star above you.I think we live in a free world and people shouldn't laugh from mullets or things like that. But you know that most people see first, then they hear, and then they finally focus on personality(if they want). You know, it's always been a problem. To see the person and forget the mullet, you have to be someone with high EQ.Most people aren't like that, are they? And yes, there's some kind of jealousy. When someone laughs at you, it's like trying to say "I'm better than you, I'm better than you".
Oh, I almost forgot... the cake.

Thanks for the cake. =P I will eat it in a little while.
The thing is, he looks good with his mullet, so there shouldn't really be anything to laugh at. And a lot of people back in the 80's, had haircuts that where much worse than his, so I don't see why he gets the worst of the taunting.
I guess, because he looks better than them, they are jealous of him, and they try to disguise it with taunting him. =P
