You should've taken the plane if the train slows you down towards your destination. Trains usually stops at stations to load up or or unload passengers that's why it'll take you too long to reach where you're going.

We only have one railroad for the whole state as it is not the main mode of transport in my country. I would prefer to go for air travel as it is fuss free and faster.

Flying is much faster than going by train, but it is usually more expensive than going by train or by bus. In some months I am going to travel around in Europe by train, I am going to spend quite a lot of time on travelling from place to place, but I don't mind, because I am able to work and study while I am travelling. That way I spend the time on something useful while I am travelling from place to place. I also like to look at the scenery while I am going by train, I find it interesting to see the different places/countries.

What you say is absolutely true.The train halts at most stations and causes wastage of time.Flight is much faster and one can go directly to the destination.But it is the cost factor which makes most of us opt for a train.

That really deponds on what type of train you are taking.Some trains go very slow,and dirty,which stop every station,no matter big or small.But some trains ran very fast,and clean.Yeah,I like train journey,in which I can enjoy the scenery along the journey. Good luck,have a nice day~
