Tube or NOKIA 5800

I have the NOKIA 5800 silver color. I think the facilities and performance of 5800 is very good. i still have version 3.1 I want to update to V.5.0. I tried to update from my mobile phone but the "Update Not Found". I continue to try to change the product code with NSS. I change it to V.5.0 But after I change the update is also not avaliable. I beg your suggestion for how to update NOKIA 5800 to V.5.0 of the mobile phone. Not on the computer.

Nokia usually not advise it's users to upgrade the firmware using the phone itself as it may cause damage to the software when there is an interruption while upgrade is in progress. The best way to upgrade your phone software is by using the computer via compatible USB cable. You may want to check which version is available for your phone by visiting the website nokiausa.com then go to support and then go to download software, then go to the second tab that says ''can I update?'' then enter your product code at the back of your phone just beneath the battery you will see a bar code that says ''product code'' followed by a series of number, just enter the first 7 digits on the box then hit enter, if the version you see on the computer is greater than your current verion, you can do the update. To check for the current version just key in *#0000# on your phone.
