a famous lines from both parties in a relationship either from guy or a girl. we need some space, lets work things out. what do you think if your partners tells you this? may i hear from you..

I believe in relationships we have ups and down. Where you settle things out mutually, but where one party says "we need some space" those are indicators that the relationship is headed downstream. But where they say lets work things out. Its an indication of reconciliation and things might work out.

@danoluma: true, in every relationships theres ups and downs. does space indicates the end of the relationship? what if the girl wants the space but still she wants a connection from her bf? meaning?

yes, i've heard of this a couple of times, either coming from me or from my bf before. it came from me but i said that to my husband before we got married. but of course, that "needing some space" didn't last and we got married! but for the others, it was basically the end of a relationship, at least that's what i felt during those times.
