the very first video game i ever played is battle city in the nes console. that's first video game i have ever played, it used to be my wakeup call in the morning lol. But that is not the oldest game i have ever played, i have played pong.
It is really somewhat funny for me that there is still some fun left in those decade old games that sometime is missing with the new games coming out.
i have let a younger kid that doesn't even heard of nes, battle city and such but born in ps2 and psp's and he still enjoyed it.

I still remember the oldest game i've played. I believe it's super mario bros. Lol. It was the hardest game for me back then. I was too afraid to step on the bad guys and to face king kuppa. But now i'm more afraid of facing ali in fight night round 3. Lol. :)

Ever hear of "PONG"? It was one of the first video games ever. It was very simple with no graphics to speak of and it was monochrome.

it's between gallaga and battle city or pacman.^_^ i never really get to play super mario although i wanted to try it then. but it was so popular that a lot of kids my age are playing it and they go about telling how they got this and that, or how they saved the princess and etc,. so they totally worn me out. plus, i am not really interested on such video games following a story. the last video game i played was mortal combat. after that everything became RPGs and i'm not really into them.

Ohh Battle City is one of my favorite vido games on NES. Thousand of hours spend on this not so big, but awsome game.
The first game I played on my video game was Super Mario 1.0 (Awsome). And still when I turn on my old nes (once a year) to try does it work yet, I play super Mario and Battle city. Also my favorit is Contra, Lion King, Turtles...

you know its kinda funny that old school tech stuff are still working after being dormant for a couple of years. Can't say about that with the current generation consoles

It's kinda hard to remember which video game I played first exactly. But I think it was either Super Mario Bros or perhaps Contra. I was young, and don't exactly remember. But I do know it was a NES game.

I played Mario and loads of other games on those video games which we got some ten to fifteen years back. They were the ones where you put in the game cassettes and the main game instrument was attached to the TV and we played with the joystick. That time computers were not that popular or cheap. We got a computer when I was almost 22. I wonder if people even make this game or now its a part of a museum.

i played heavily with pacman but then windows 95 came about and i had my first game of chess against a computer which i couldn't beat with my childish brain. i also recall about snoopy and i press the arrow keys to make him walk. then i played sonic hedgehog from sega together with wrestling and mickey mouse. other games are chips challenge and fury 3 where I use to bomb the enemy with the powerful FFF haha.

I remember very well the first video game I ever played.
It was called Paperboy and it was released for the Sega Master System.
You made your character cycle down a street with houses on each side and earned points by throwing newspapers towards the houses and making them land at the front door.

The oldest game I've ever played is Atari's Ping-pong! I don't know if anyone still remembers that one but it's in black and white and Atari was the first video-game from Japan.
We had that game because we stayed at our grandmother's house and my uncles where still young and my grandmother bought them every type of game possible.
The next oldest game was 1942 in Nintendo. A game which could be likened to Galactica only cooler.
I've gone through all the the consoles and I think nothing beats Super Mario Bros., PAC-MAN and Battle Tank! hahahahaha... Oh not to mention BomberMan.

Hi oOjopakOo! The very first video game that I every played was
also Pong! I believe that was the very first one that ever
came out! And now that I think about it was it ever silly!
Compared to the games that are out now and Wii it's hard to
believe Pong ever existed! Can you imagine try to tell kids
these days about Pong? That's like telling them about black and
white tv's and not having computers or cell phones! But, I
do remember those days too!

one of the first game i played was super mario bros for the NES, at that time i didn't even know it was for the NES, i played it on a terminator(an european NES copy), and i just called it "Games on TV".Anyhow, everytime i hear the super mario bros soundtrack, i feel a nostalgic feeling.I simply loved that game and used to play it untill the charger started to heat, so i took breaks only when it got too hot.

unfortunately, I never play video games.
My childhood was spent with work,
and even now is still like that.
I am not familiar with video games, ps, xbox, etc. ..
at most only pc games.
