I'm off work for a week!! Vacation time

Well I actually get a nice long break now from work for a whole week and yesterday was my first day off although I did sleep it away because I work nightshifts but I did have lastnight off and it felt good knowing that I don't have to go in tonight or until next Monday night YAY! I don't plan on going anywhere for my vacation time but just staying around the house while hubby goes to work and son is off to school. Perhaps I will clean the house and spend more time here on mylot?
It's really nice knowing that I don't have to work but get paid for not being there!
What would you do on your days off?

Hello nixxi,
That's great that you have sometimes to relax for a week, and have yourself a good rest.
During my vacation most of the time I stay at home.I prefer to stay home and do something to entertain myself.I don't feel like going out during holidays just maybe I just used to it.Its more tiring for me to spend time outside so I can say I'm a home body individual.

It was nice to not have to go to work tonight and still get paid for it hehehe. I love working don't get me wrong but a nice week off once in awhile is awesome! I hope this week goes by nice and slow so I can really enjoy it while it's here. I don't get my next week off until this October then January in 2011. I didn't sign up for vacation time so that's what they gave me but next year I'm going to be smart and sign up for three weeks in a row.

I know that you are glad for this vacation break. There is nothing wrong with that! And for you to still get paid is something very nice! What a great vacation! If I am on vacation, I will do some shopping and cleaning once I am all rested up. I will also do some Internet work too. Spending time with my family is one of the fun things that I will make sure that I fit into my vacation schedule. I hope that you enjoy your wonderful week of vacation time. Have the best of fun!

I hope this week goes by nice and sloooooooooowwwwww lol. I cleaned my house today and it was super windy outside so I didn't really get to enjoy the sun all that much. I live at the beach so I'm thinking I might take my little dog down tomorrow and get her running around and some exercise.

Since I spend most of my time at home anyway I would love to be able to take a vacation. I would go to Long Beach, CA to visit my daughter and grandson but I don't see that happening anywhere in the near future. Enjoy your time off!
