Do you have the complete drivers of your laptop in a cd? and do you have a installer cd of a bootable winxp pro?

have you tried restarting your laptop? sometimes when problem occurs with our computers, they just need a rest and restarting them solves the problem.

Try the "add new hardware" option in control panel to install your sound card driver. or check out if you can upgrade to windows 7. I have an acer aspire, just upgraded to windows 7, it is much faster and everything is so simple when you migrate to 7. Check if you hear sound when you plug an earphone in your laptop. Sometimes some simple things can cause trouble with sound, check if you have muted your sound by double cliking the volume control icon.

Hi reploid thanks for your response .
I have been try that add new hard ware thing and its not work so far. I think I had to bring it to acer service center as soon as I have time. Upgrade is not possible at this time my friend because I need the money to pay other thing. Maybe I will upgrade in the next 6 month.
