A bit of a morbid question but it got me thinking. I think I have lived a good life, to the fullest when I can. If something happens that causes my demise tomorrow, I would be satisfied and not feel that my time is wasted. I didn't accomplish anything notable, but fame and fortune is highly overrated to begin with. I have lived life to its fullest and enjoyed while I was here. So how about you? Will you be satisfied with your life if you pass away tomorrow? Looking forward to reading your responses.

I think about things like this often, does that make me a morbid person? Yeah, probably so. lol No,(*sigh*) I haven't live life to it's fullest, I sometimes don't think I live life at all. To some people this might seem like I'm just being a baby, but I'm an overachiever, and for me, I haven't done nearly all that I feel I should have. I got married right out of high school and my husband and I had four great kids, we did everything we were supposed to do. Focused on making a life for our children, and what have you, but my kids are getting older and I'm feeling like I haven't done the things I wanted to do for myself. Does that make sense? I'm fairly certain that everything I think is normal, but I sometimes feel like I'm being selfish to admit, I want more from life. I'll get there, I just haven't done it yet.

I totally agree with you. I'm such an overachiever too! I feel like I haven't really lived life either. No, you aren't being selfish. It's YOUR LIFE, remember that.

Well, that's a good point. Until the moment is end, we should always want more. That is not selfish. I mean, as long as we are still living, we can still be alive. However, if it gets cut off, then I think I will be satisfied. Of course, that's hopefully a long time coming but you never know. Until then I'll get the most I can out of life, until my very last breath. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I hope I don't die tomorrow I just started! But, If I did since I'm still young I would say that NO I have not lived my life yet.

Yes, the younger we are, the more we think we should have accomplished. I think I have accomplished what could be considered a decent life. Not spectacular but satisfying to me. I still have a lot of time to accomplish more or at least I hope I do. Still, if my number was called, then it would be good enough but I just want more. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Yes, family is always something that is a concern. While I would be sastisified with my own life when it ends, life does go on for other people. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I am very pleased with my life now and satisfied. So, if anything happens, I'll always ready and surely receive an eternal life and live in the kingdom of heaven.

There are so many things that I still want to do that I would be sad to leave this life without achieving them - but yes, I feel that I have lived life to the fullest so far and made the most of the opportunities that have come my way. My husband used to say that he was afraid to say 'wouldn't it be nice to do....' because next thing he knew we would be doing it lol I don't believe in risking growing old and regretting the things that I never did though I try to be considerate of others and not do anything that has too negative an impact on anyone else...

I am not yet ready to die. I have too many things to accomplish. If I die tomorrow, I will surely say that I am not satisfied to the thing that I have done. It's not the question of enjoyment that I had. It's the fact that I never did something worthwhile that will satisfy or make others happy. No, not yet. Not now, not tomorrow. Let me finish my good deeds first.

If I pass away (God forbid)tomorrow or anytime. I would still be very much satistied with my previous life experiences. Furthermore, I wouldn't want to change a single bit detail of it. I have experience many wonderful things and learn every piece of knowledge that had shaped my entire life up to this day. I guess, although we didn't live exactly as others does, we do love and cherish our own life experiences.
