How long can you hold your breath under water?
As of 6 years ago, my personal best is one minute, 2 seconds. It should be noted that I was bobbing for apples, and somebody walked up behind me, and held my head down so I couldn't come up for air. I think it might have been my brother. I was too light headed to get a good look at the face, so I'm not too sure.

LOL! :P Well, my record was one minute and 37 seconds, back in the days when I wasn't smoking. :P I think I can't do better than 40 seconds right now, unfortunately. :P So if anyone were to keep me submerged for a minute, they'd probably enjoy 20 seconds of bubbles from me. :P

Hello,
I'm not so good at holding my breathe, under water or not. I have been a smoker for over 20 years now so my lung capacity is very poor compared to a fit, healthy person of my age.
I cant swim either, my theoty is if God wanted us to swim he would have given us webbed feet and gills.
I really should improve my health. Maybe tomorrow......
Enjoy your time in myLot fellow member.

I am not much of a swimmer, but holding my breathe under the water is something me and my cousins used to do when I had I pool. Sadly, none of us were really any good because none of us really swam at all at that time, we were only about 9 years old. The number that comes to my mind is 56 seconds, but I'm not sure if that is right or not.

I can only hold my breath for only a few seconds, 15 seconds is a very long time for me. I love to swim but I cant hold my breath for a long time. I went swimming last weekend and it was fun. I just wish I know how to hold it longer, I think its going to be a lot more fun for me.
