I went to the doctors yesterday and was told to reduce my salt intake to 2grams a day..I don't personally use salt, but no matter what I ate, had salt in it. jelly, cereal, etc.
Doc said this will make the swelling go down. told to drink more water. why? if it stores itself and blows me up like a balloon?
Is there any other way besides these two to stop the intake of water build up? I was put on water pills but even those don't help, and doc said alot of my weight is waterd! Help!!!

I don't know what your diet is. I buy lo-salt canned goods and do not use salt on any of my food. Look at your packages for sodium. And, yes, although it seems a paradox, drinking water will help. There are several water pills if the one your dr used, ask him for another one. There are tons of no salt seasonings on the market. Watch things like garlic salt too. Any of your seasonings may have salt in them. Just be cautious and watch packaging.
