When you are away from family...........................

Very frequently I have to be out of town and leave my parents behind. I sort of miss them but I don't call them at regular intervals. I am not a good talker over phone, rather I prefer to see the person right in front of me.

I'm often away from my family because I don't live with them anymore. I moved out and been living independently for a couple of years already. I used to visit them every weekend, but then my visits became rare especially after my mom and I had a big fight. I didn't visit nor keep in touch with them for a year or so I guess, but I used to send money to them through my younger brother, so they gave him all the credits for that (until now they have no idea that all those money came from me and I don't have any intentions of letting them know that truth. I think it's better that way. ). Anyway, these days I visit them whenever I can. I've been busy with a lot of things, but I try to drop by whenever there's a special occasion or holiday like birthday, anniversary or Christmas. I send them money, too, and send them text messages from time to time.

I Usually call them them and every night is a must to call my mother who will never sleep until she talks to me on the phone or on Skype, so this is the only fastest mean to see her and talk to her. You can use the web cam with your MSN or Skype to talk to them.

I often go out of town for my job. But I always call my family regularly. If I am off for a few days, I try to call at a fixed-regular hour their time. So that they would know, that around 7pm, I would be calling. Of course the kids also know the 2 cellphone numbers I carry. They can alway call me anytime if they want to.

when i stayed in a boarding school before,i called my mum almost everyday or at least once in two days.i think it's important for me to chat with her and tell her my day and my studies..i think i appreciate my family when they are far from me..
