Dog and Cats Friendship

I had a dog when I was a teenager. His name was Dalig--native Filipino dog. He slept, played, and ate with my cats. He protected them from other cats and comforted them during cold nights or when there was a storm. He was gentle yet he was fierce. All the dogs in the neighborhood feared him. I miss him.....

I have had cats and dogs that have gotten on well and I have had those that couldn't stand each other. I have determined it is mostly about how the animals were reared. Though occasionally I suppose some are just naturally inclined one way or the other.
What ever happened to your dog? I had one named Gutchi, a Chinese chow. He was my fierce protector :D

yeah,i agree with u,sometimes it is no strange that one sort animal has a connection with another sort animal,the same situation happens in dog and tiger,chicken and duck,hmm
but i ve never see it in reality,i just heard and over heard from magazine and internet,hope one day my pets in such a harmony condition
