How do you make banners in your computer?

I have joined a traffic exchange site where I need to make my own banner but I got lost and ended up doing nothing to promote my site. How can you create a banner using the computer. I went to microsoft and tried creating my banner through the microsoft office manager but I don't understand much about it as a result I surfed for free banners online that proved to be harder because I cannot get the banner and save it in my computer. Oh my God, this is the disadvantage of one born in the olden days. Thanks to all of you who will respond.

The best way to create a banner is using Microsoft publisher, they have the templates and samples also, you can create the banner with the right size you want, hope this helps...

The sites you've joined should provide you their respective banners. You'll be having trouble figuring out the link to referral even if you know how to manipulate pictures. It should be in the site. You should just look for it there. :)

hi,you want create banner of your own site or put your referral links of concerned sites which you want to promote...if that is the case every site will provide you HTML link reflecting their banner,in which you simply insert your referral link...

IF you know or have skills in photoshop, its really easy making your own banner. Or you can also make a gif image on your banner. There are some sites or forums wherein you can put the link on the image. Try to search it on the net on how to put a link

Thanks. I did just that and when I was ready to copy the banner in my computer. I cannot do it. I just wondered where to save it.
