Lately, I passed by a vendor with lots and lots of pineapples. Mmmm aren't they delicious. From what I know, pineapple is rich with anti oxidants and anti cancer substance. It is rich in vit. c, and also sweet. What are other things do you know about pineapples?

I know they're awfully tasty! And that they're used in pina coladas. But beyond that, I'm pretty much stumped They're probably a pain to cut up with them being so spiky and all. Oh, and they're also quite good in fruit salads! (;

Hi. Jankar. Pineapples are very high in fiber and they are great for Arthritis problems too. I know that they help to fight off Cancer as well. These fruits are very nutritious and especially delicious too.

As a child, I know that when raw, it cuts my tongue. Since then, I never ate pineapples anymore. I guess the trauma put me off it. Another thing about pineapples that my country's culture believes is that pineapple should not be eaten by pregnant woman, in case of a miscarriage. Apparently (but not really proven), the lining of the uterus wall will become thinner if a woman consumes pineapple.

I love eating pineapples but they're so hard to peel because of the eyes. I told my mom to buy the peeled ones but they still buy the raw unpeeled ones and they make me peel it and remove the eyes. Peeling pineapples is on top of the list of my least favorite chore.
