Do chatmates believe in true love?

hear that! i also don't believe that love can be found in chat rooms. personally, i do not want to have someone i just have known in a chat room. all you hear from him/her maybe are all superficial. since the conversation is mediated by the media (of course), true emotions, true attitudes can be concealed. still, who are we to judge them? who knows, they maybe really in love. we just don't know. quoting my church mate/friend in one of our chat conversations, "at least, it's a start." chatting is a start of something bigger.

It depends really of what we are searching for. There are many dating websites, and most of them who registers just want one night stands, and they only want to have fun without having to commit to anyone. True love can only be define in what meets the eye, someone can be all sweet but if we dont like what we see physically it wont work either

Personally,I dont mind how lovers come to know each other.Maybe some of the girls are just after for the guys wealth and to have a chance to go abroad.I believe true love do exist between those who meet in chatrooms.

Hi krischine, There are lots of situations which prove that love knows no boundaries at all. We can say that meeting a person online and loving him for real is a weird thing but sometimes, there are things which happens which is difficult to explain. Love as what they say is always full of mysteries. We cannot judge those girls in Cebu who have foreign lovers just because they just meet those persons in chatrooms. I can say that not all true love can be found in real. Some of them can be found online. We cannot also say that all men are men, some of them are gays. Not all people who goes to church everyday are religious, some of them are slanderers and gamblers. We can also say that not of all things that we see is true, some of them are just illusions. As for me, as long as I see both partners happy, I can say that there exist true love. We cannot fathom every thing that we see and feel. Sometimes, some of them are so mysterious and very subtle to be understand by the human mind.

hello krischine, it depends on the situation, some people felt disappointed doesn't pursue the next date after doing eye ball for the first time. but some really does make the effort to make it happen, and they end settling down together. well, that's the truth because people either get raped or killed by trusting some one online.

I guess its rare to find one true love in chat. but I saw couples that got married and live happily because of chat, I think its from wowowee they had a segment which their player is a couple meet in chat and then get married.

chatmates can not necesserily be in true love. firstly they may be not knowing each other pesonally. but we have to define the meaning of true love in this context. feeling of a person regarding true love varies with individuals. for example, someone may think that... ahh this person loves me because he is chatting with me all time...hes also coming here for meeting me. hes wealthy too. so he truly loves me. basically, wat im trying to say is tat tru lov is an personal feling which cannot be defined. hence the question is irrelevant.

I think this is the way they find their true love. I totally agree with you that some of them is finding for wealth and or to go abroad. We girls wants to have a good life, thats why we want to choose the right one for us. For me i half believe in this, I'm also waiting for someone to come and visit me here. Anyway its up to you if you gonna believe or not.

i think many times there are cases that believing on a chatmate is very dangerous but there are also some exceptions. I think chat is a way only to communicate and to know what others want to share. I think the real love cant be started merely by chatting and every body is enough wise.

In finding true love, it doesn't matter where to do it. It's all over everywhere. Whether in a mall, restaurant, shop, chatroom, etc.. Others found their love on the net and i admire that.

hi I guess when it comes to love, anything can happen. Besides, one important matter to enter into a relationship is communication. So if they were chat mates for a long time, maybe feelings of love has been develop. Besides it is on the matter if two persons can connect to each other right? I guess with your opinion, you quite think lowly of Filipinas today.. I might say there may be still some like that but there are also some who really falls in love just by communication. The intonation or the construction of words actually defines you as the person no matter how many things you hide them. But when emotions are link to it, like happy or mad, it will show to how you react.

I don't think so you can find true love in chat, because most people in chatting has at first what they have is lust and not love, most people either men or women in the internet at first maybe they have lust of beauty, or lust of money but in the long run some times love had been developed through their continual communication, and I know lots of couple through chat that has a happy family.

it is a possibility but most of the reason to have a foreigner is to go abroad and start a new life there. some reason is for them to leave the life of struggle and would live in comfort with their foreigner husband. in virtual "love", any one can wear a mask.. hi tin,hehehe...

It's not the right way that you want to find true love in online chatmates.I think most people who chat with stranger online do not intend to find true love in chatmates.they just want to find someone unkown to talk about something they won't talk in the social life.they need use this way to release their stress. But people can find true love in chatmates.when two guys chat for a long time ,and know each other more,they have feelings to each other,so they can fall in love.that's the true love,I believe.So in my opinion,let the things go naturally.
