Have you ever been in a relationship with a foreigner?

I would like to know about your experiences if you ever been in a relationship with a foreigner? Like, were there any cultural, lingual or society issues? Did family appreciated this relationship or not? What country you people thought of settling down? Did you people face any particular issue or anything you would like to share? I'm from India, I was in a relationship with a foreigner from Europe. Language was not an issue as we both new English. We spent some time together in India and in Europe as well. We traveled many places and had amazing experiences together. She being European, we didn't find any issue at all from her family or friends or culture or traveling together in Europe. But I being an Indian, though it was ok from my family but there were issues from Indian society and culture point of view and would also say, India is not so easy country for foreigners to live in. Although I never cared for any of the problem and all I cared was "us together" but still faced few issues like: - Hotel room for two when traveling together, one Indian and one foreigner, un-married (unless 5-Star or highly rated, you might be rejected or questioned). - Kissing in public (Though staring eyes of people couldn't stop us). - Centre of attraction like a STAR couple. - People approaching for photographs!!! I would be glad to discuss and know experiences of any such couple, facing such kind of issues.
