what causes anxiety?

this one for me is one of the most mysterious thing in the world aside from love ofcourse...are they just pretending to escape?or there is something really going on...!

What do you mean trying to escape? Who is trying to escape? Going on with what?...
But as for your title, I guess I can say that anxiety is the fear of the unknown, you are afraid of something but dont have the specific thing that you are afraid of. For me, I get anxious when I am next in line, especially when going on stage or speaking in front.
